Functions

Functions is the second way that TouchPoint Resource Pool views the food business world. Functions are key components to making your business properly operate. You have a little bit of basic training in many of these areas and you might even be an expert in one or two of them. Our Resource Pool is comprised of experts who design systems, put them into place, train for operational competence, and then assess compliance to the standards involved in those activities. These are the core Functions we have identified in the food business world. Just like a restaurant menu, these may change or alter themselves, but they won’t go away. Our partners are available to help you with any one of these areas.

Risk Management

We provide support for our shared clients, specifically in the areas of:

  • This group works to prevent situations that cause problems for a business; protecting that business from escalating damage.
  • We have the resources to provide technical, insurance and legal information to a business.
  • We can advise on current codes and train personnel on best methods to avoid risk and present healthy environments and products.
  • We have products and design resources that present safe and efficient environments for employees to work and prepare food.
  • We have resources to help manage and reduce all types of risk that can hurt the viability and profitability of a business.
 We work together to take care of our clients. This is how we do that: 
  • A client may seek help with staff training needs or information regarding codes, quality assurance, allergies, environmental health, or etc., from a TouchPoint partner.
  • Through that relationship it might be noticed or mentioned that there are other risk factors that should be addressed. This becomes a referral situation. As one resource we can efficiently provide all of a company’s risk management needs, saving time and money.

Finance

We provide support for our shared clients, specifically in the areas of:
